Zaunkonig Cafe & Mehr in Dachau

We ordered and picked up the Bündner nut cake there. The cake was absolutely delicious and was eaten within a short time. :-) We have also already been there for breakfast and, in addition to a good selection of different dishes, also drank good-tasting coffee / latte macchiato. Hope the lockdown is over soon so that we can go there again for breakfast.

A cozy, beautiful café that has put a lot of effort into your hygiene concept. You can also sit outside. Even there, pillows and blankets invite you to linger. There are many books in the café that you can read. The food is delicious. A good range of teas and coffee drinks. I can really recommend it.

One of the best cafes in Dachau and the surrounding area, always great homemade cakes and pies, normal food, whether curry or the various breakfasts, the taste and quality cannot be surpassed! Staff always in a good mood and friendly, great service! Keep coming back!

Access via the courtyard entrance is a bit hidden, but clearly signposted. In the backyard you sit in the shade and totally quiet. The selection of cakes is small but nice and the taste is excellent (the men's cake is a masterpiece in terms of craftsmanship and taste). The coffee also stands out positively from the usual gastronomic, fully automatic taste aberration - here they rely on quality and the service on friendliness! Gladly again!

Ambience inside as well as outside good, wait staff also ok, there is no espresso machine, outside it is very noisy due to the dishes that the employees throw in the boxes and that is not an exception but goes pretty consistently, prices much too high. However, by and large not a venerated shop for a spontaneous detour

Very cozy. Dear service and everything very friendly. Lots of books that invite you to read and linger. Unfortunately it was raining otherwise you could have sat down in the very nice outdoor area. A very good recommendation

A fantastic addition to the old part of town up on the hill. A great cafe hidden away in a backyard with delicious food and friendly staff. Nice and cozy outdoor seating and cute indoor area with a giant bookshelf. The food is modern with many organic options. We had the Kaiserschmarren and the Vita-Salad. Both were delicious! The salad comes with couscous and orange dressing and was amazing!

Cute little cafe in the heart of the Dachau old town. When you're here, you feel like you're invited to coffee and cake with grandmother. The atmosphere is totally right here. Always happy to come here. Very friendly waitresses.

Nice café with some lunch options. Had a very nice and lovely prepared fruit salad. Friendly service although they had some timing issues, food came before drinks and not at the same time.

Didn't even come up in search results! Charming place, a wonderful selection of healthy and delicious meals and desserts with gluten, dairy free, and vegetarian options. Lovely ambience and big band music.

Great food, service, and experience!

Food was very good. I had chicken with rice and curry, it was delicious. It's comfortable, a bit of noise but the music is not loud. Good place for family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 NB: one of the waiter speaks English very well and translated the menu for us 👍
